RIP Dr. Randy Pausch

I just read that Dr. Randy Pausch passed away last friday. I’m not his student, nor did I go to CMU, but the first time I heard him speak was here:

This is one of the greatest things about the Internet… that you can learn about people that you would never would have met at another earlier point in time, but that can effect you so deeply and inspire you to do great things.

Coldfusion doesn't start on first install

If you get this error on a fresh install of Coldfusion (CentOS, CF8), check your /etc/hosts.   It’s generally because its trying to reach the external interface instead of the internal one.

ColdFusion 8 not started, will retry connector 12 more time(s)
